Dear NDC’s Changing Landscape in Washington Webinar Series faithful:

We began this endeavor shortly after the 2016 elections to better acclimate our client communities and stakeholders with the shifting change of power that occurred as a result. Now that we are roughly six months in the new Trump administration and 115th Congress we will be changing our focus from the “Changing Landscape in Washington” to an “Update from Washington” style webinar to which we will provide information on the latest and greatest policy discussions surrounding community and economic development.

To that point, we have decided to suspend our bi-weekly webinars for the upcoming weeks as there is a lot of “external noise” consuming the conversations in Washington. We will resume our NDC Washington Webinar Series on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 @ 2 pm with a special advocacy themed webinar to prepare our client communities and stakeholders for the annual August Congressional recess period, in which we will equip participants with the necessary tools and resources to plan and execute successful congressional visits back in the states and district that demonstrate the essential role of federal investment in community and economic development.

Join our mailing list to receive future NDC news and notifications regarding the new Washington Update Webinar Series.

For those of you that are anxiously awaiting to hear from us, always remember that you can field any questions or concerns you may have about the happenings in Washington or your favorite federal tools and resources by simply emailing us at advocacy@ndconlie.org and we will get you the information to best that we know it.

And lastly, if you enjoy these webinars I encourage you to plan to join us here in Washington on October 23-25, 2017 for our NDC Academy which will bring together economic development professionals and policy makers to share best practices and rethink community and economic development going forward, you can find out more information by visiting www.ndcacademy.org .

Thank you again for your good work and continued support of our efforts!

Best,
Jane Campbell
