NDC Multicultural Investment (MCI) will sponsor the inaugural Brownpreneurs® Teen Summit, a three-day intensive business skills workshops for high school students from the Greater St. Louis area. Brownpreneurs is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to develop the next generation of brown entrepreneurs, one student at a time.
The event will take place on July 8 – 10, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at .Zack (DotZack) at 3224 Locust Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. This educational summit will include professional seminars, credible featured speakers, hands-on projects and lunch. It will cover topics such as: how to start a business, how to be a leader and not a boss, and the importance of good credit.
All sessions will be taught by an experienced business educator or industry professional with proven track records in their own fields. NDC encourages community-affiliated professionals in the St. Louis area to get involved by volunteering their time as panel speakers and business case competition judges. Registration is open now and any student or volunteer interested in participating can visit brownpreneurs.org to sign up! Attendance is free but space is limited.
