Grow America Fund (GAF) borrower Fredrick H. Johring, president of Long Beach-based GSL Transportation Services, Inc. was named Environmental “Green” Conservator of the Year. Johring was nominated for the award by GAF President John Palyo, and is one of four Greater Long Beach businesses that have earned recognition by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Los Angeles District Office. He received the honor at a luncheon on June 13.
