Applicants for recertification must complete one or more of the following approved activities from the list below. Approved activities and providers will be reviewed periodically and revised accordingly. NDC welcomes suggestions for additional activities and providers.
NDC Activities
NDC Training
– Complete an NDC training course or courses totaling at least three days (one unit per day)
– Complete an NDC webinar (one-half unit) Note: Attending three NDC Virtual Academy (formerly known as NDC Washington D.C. Update) webinars qualify for
one-half recertification unit.
– Recertification candidates will receive a 25% tuition discount for all NDC courses
NDC Other
– Complete NDC’s Recertification Survey to describe the impact of your NDC training experience (one-half unit). Note: The Recertification Survey can only be completed once per recertification term (three years)
Approved Providers’ Activities*
Unless notated, all approved activities must be development and/or financing specific and applicable to development professionals.
– Complete an approved provider’s courses or webinars
– Participate in an approved organization’s annual conference
– Publish an article in an approved industry trade publication
