The Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire and Grow America have established a partnership to leverage your Grow America Professional Certification into credits toward a Master’s Degree in Community Development. The Carsey/Grow America Graduate Credit Award Program expands educational and credentialing opportunities for professionals currently working or seeking a career in economic, housing, and community organizations. Students who have earned an Grow America Professional Certification may be eligible to receive up to six (6) graduate-level credits (2 courses) while enrolled in the Master in Community Development (MCD) program at the Carsey School of Public Policy.
Students accepted or enrolled in the MCD program are also eligible to receive a reduced rate on Grow America courses when pursuing certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP), Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP), and/or a Rental Housing Development Finance Professional (RHDFP).

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization serving economic developers. With more than 5,000 members, IEDC is the largest organization of its kind. Economic developers promote economic well-being and quality of life for their communities, by creating, retaining and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth and provide a stable tax base. The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is one of the largest organizations supporting projects to revitalize communities and bring greater economic opportunity to residents. These include more affordable housing, better schools, safer streets, growing businesses and programs that improve the financial outlook of people. We provide the capital, strategy and know-how to local partners to get this done. Our work impacts the lives of millions of Americans in both rural areas and urban centers across the country.
The National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations (NACEDA) is an alliance of 40 state and regional community development associations in 25 states and the District of Columbia. Our members are champions, stewards and thought leaders for community development at the state and local level. Through our members, NACEDA connects with almost 4,000 community development nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.
Founded in 1982, the National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA), is an association of professionals working to finance affordable housing in the broader community development context at the local level across the United States. NALHFA’s mission is to provide leadership in the field of affordable housing finance and to deliver quality services to its members. NALHFA’s primary membership comprises of local housing finance agencies and those companies that offer product and services supporting them. As a non-profit association, NALHFA is an advocate before Congress and federal agencies on legislative and regulatory issues affecting affordable housing. In addition, NALHFA provides its membership with technical assistance, critical and timely industry information, and a variety of educational opportunities.
