Sicilia Pizza LLC, founded by Amro Hararah in 1992 and noted for excellent crust and sauce, has operated at various locations throughout downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. They’ve always rented space and have hoped for a more permanent location.

Now, thanks to the Grow America Fund, this family-owned pizzeria proudly owns its location in the center of the city. They held this spot for six years prior to the purchase, preparing handmade artisan pizza’s, calzones, and sandwiches to their loyal clientele.

The property is now owned by H&M Elite Consulting LLC, which is owned by Mr. Hararah and a long-term employee, Julie Marques.

The Grow America Fund provided them with a $650,000 loan over a term of twenty-five years, at a variable interest rate of the Wall Street Journal prime plus 1.00% (5.25%).

“GAF offered the awesome opportunity to finally purchase our location at a monthly payment that was very affordable,” said Mr. Hararah.

The building is in an ideal location, and not only provides ample interior seating, but also outdoor seating in a five-story mixed use condominium space. It’s giving the business a place to call home that is also brighter and more modern than their previous locations. Along with the friendly staff and good service, Sicilia Pizza is providing the Salt Lake City area with great food.

The Grow America Fund is proud to help this small business to grow and flourish.
