
CLEVELAND, OH — Grow America, a national leader in community development and economic development, is proud to announce the selection of Mary Smigelski as Director of Asset Management for Housing. Smigelski brings more than 30 years of dedicated financial leadership and deep operational expertise within the affordable housing sector.

Smigelski joins Grow America following an impressive tenure at CHN Housing Partners, where she served as Chief Financial Officer since 2008. In that role, she directed the financial strategy for the nonprofit, managing complex funding streams, budgets, and compliance. Her deep expertise in capital project financing, fund accounting, and federal regulations gives her a complete understanding of the housing asset lifecycle, making her an incredible asset to the Grow America team.

Smigelski has her CPA and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Kent State University and began her professional career in public accounting, specializing in audit and tax services for nonprofit and real estate entities.
