July 2018- NDC Corporate Equity Fund XIV announced a LIHTC closing for the $15.2 million new construction of an affordable housing development in Seattle, WA. Patricia K. Apartments will provide affordable, permanent supportive housing to 52 people with mental illnesses. It is being developed alongside Judkins Junction, a 74-unit project for low wage workers and families, at the corner of 23rd Avenue and S. Jackson Street in Seattle.
Located one mile east of the central business district of Seattle, the building will include both residential and commercial space, and features sub-surface parking and a rooftop garden. Residents of Patricia K. Residents will have full access to services provided by Community House Mental Health Agency (CHMHA), founded in the early 1960s CHMHA helps people with severe and persistent mental illness increase their social, vocational and life skills with recovery as the program’s overall goal.
Construction is set to complete in January of 2020.
