RLF Community of Practice – Peer Leadership Team Selection Process and Criteria

EDA’s RLF CoP includes the selection of 10 – 12 existing RLFs to serve as peer advisors alongside the CoP Leadership Team. There is $95,000 – $100,000 in funding to compensate the RLF Peers for their time. Peers will provide workshops, review self-assessments, and develop and deliver content to cohort groups. Peers will extend the capabilities of the leadership team, mentor RLFs, and act as an on-going support to the RLF network.

Sheptytsky Arms is an existing senior rental project that consists of fifty units in one building that was built in 1986. The property includes studio, one, and two bedroom units that will be rented to senior households (62+) whose income does not exceed 60% of the area median income. Upon closing, HUD issued a new 20-year Housing Assistance Payment contract on the property allowing residents to pay 30% of their adjusted gross income to rent.
